I have the honour to inform you that it has
been pointed out by the Government Analyst that there is no defin-
-ite standard material laid down for the composition of the Copper
coins of the Colony in the Order-in-Council of 2nd. February, 1895,
and to suggest for your consideration that some standard should be
fixed with a view to rendering it easier to detect attempts at
counterfeiting.
